Fans of Gala Games, a blockchain gaming company, are in for a treat as its management has announced the launch date for its newest offering. As per an official press release, Spider Tanks, its web3 eSports brawler game, will be released on October 31, 2022.

Spider Tanks will not only be a new game but will also kick off Gala Games’ Project GYRI blockchain. This is one of its most ambitious projects to date and ahead of its launch, Gala Games has announced the sale of Spider Tanks Planetary Nodes.
Those who choose to operate these nodes will receive rewards for doing so and will also contribute to the development of the ecosystem. Once the game itself is released, it will be free to play but will offer tangible rewards for participants.
To play, users need to assemble their own spider tanks and then compete against others in virtual arenas. So far, this concept has struck a nerve with fans who enthusiastically participated during a public playtest of the game earlier this month.
Now, as it makes history as the first game of its kind, the management of Gala Games plans to do even more within the space.
“Yet again we are ushering in new firsts in gaming as we get set to launch the first Web PvP esports brawler with earnings. Both players who play for free and those who choose to make purchases can be rewarded for their efforts,” says John Osvald, President of Games at Gala Games, ahead of the launch.
