Cutting edge Web3 firm, Dapper Labs, has secured a magnificent partnership with events specialist, Ticketmaster, to use its in-house Flow blockchain to power the next generation of digital memorabilia.

Through the glorious new accord, Ticketmaster will roll out a new line in events merchandise. The hugely popular platform will be able to issue NFTs before, during and after live events and provide event goers with an additional keepsake to immortalize their excursion, while potentially adding the ability to reward loyal fans through NFT-based utility.

The official announcement comes after several collaborations between DapperLabs and Ticketmaster. The highest profile of which, saw 70k NFT ticket stubs distributed to attendees of Super Bowl LVI. A promotion so successful, the NFL has chosen to introduce the scheme into the latest season.

So far, Ticketmaster has reportedly issued over 5 million NFTs via the Flow blockchain. A network specifically chosen due to its custom-built infrastructure designed to handle the rigors of large scale NFT distribution while keeping transactions efficient enough to use as little energy as possible. In fact, according to DapperLabs, each transaction uses roughly the same amount of energy as a social media post.
