A two day NFT art pop-up exhibition, hosted by VerticalCryptoArt and Rarible, is coming to West Hollywood this February. The exhibition, dubbed “ART & NFT: The Digital Roots” is in partnership with Whitewall and will take place at NeueHouse.
The Exhibition
There will be 19 specially curated artworks on display from renowned artists. The curation is done by Micol Ap, Founder of VerticalCrypto Art, a web3 curatorial media studio. All NFTs will be minted on the Tezos blockchain through VCA Auction and Rarible.
The exhibition will also present an engaging discussion on digital artists being synonymous with contemporary artists. Some of the artists include AI leader Mario Klingemann, award winning animator, Marjan Moghaddam, Jesse Draxler and Joëlle, along with Yinka Ilori, Entangled Others, SamJ x Kate Cursed, Miss AL Simpson, Robness, Lucas Aguirre, Neurocolor, Brendan Dawes, Joëlle, Pindar; Henrik Uldalen, Ivona Tau, and more.
The exhibition begins on Thursday, February 17 at 5PM PT with a private opening and speaker panel, moderated by Holly Wood, Rarible, with Jesse Draxler, Luna Ikuta, Robness and Johan König. Following this, the public event will take place with happy hour and music from 8:00 – 11:00PM PT at NeueHouse, West Hollywood. On Friday, February 18, visitors can see the exhibition between 10AM – 10PM.

The VCA Auction
Other exciting lineups include the debut of an Oculus VR experience from SamJ x Kate Cursed as well as a number of the exhibited artworks being auctioned off as one-of-ones at the VCA Auction which will run from Feburary 17 until February 23.
The VCA Auction supports a 12-week residency for artists and creators including educational programs for metaverse-native skills and topics, as well as acts as an incubator for emerging artists to support their creative endeavors within web3.
