Digital artist extraordinaire, Refik Anadol, has once again demonstrated his prowess in the NFT arena, launching the incredible “Casa Batlló: Living Architecture” installation outside the Rockefeller Building in New York.

The mesmerizing artwork takes its inspiration from the familiar façade of the Casa Batlló in Barcelona, the Gaudi-designed building after which it’s named. Then uses climate data to evolve through a series of mystifying images based on the Spanish City’s real life weather patterns. Therefore, resulting in an altogether unique perspective for every single person to gaze upon it.

Furthermore, those spellbound by its hypnotic images, will later have an opportunity to purchase the mighty artwork. As the piece will go under the hammer as part of the 21st Evening Sale at the Christie’s auction house on May 13. However, prospective bidders face a formidable $1 – $2 million estimate, with 10% of funds reserved for charitable donations.

Refik’s incredible artwork will remain in situ until May 13th, after which it will relocate to its new home. Therefore, potentially remaining inaccessible following Christie’s auction.
