Non-Fungible Labs, the company behind the FLUF World NFT project, today announced The Futureverse Foundation, in partnership with Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant. The charitable foundation aims to support underrepresented artists around the world and exhibit their work on digital and physical platforms.

All about the Futureverse Foundation from FLUF World

Basically, the Futureverse Foundation will make grants to support diverse and underrepresented artists. For one thing, this will allow those artists to share their work on global platforms. In addition, FLUF World’s new charitable foundation will also help to make the metaverse a more accessible and inclusive space.

To illustrate, take the case of Ghanaian writer, filmmaker, and art historian Nana Oforiatta Ayim. Leading up to the launch of the Futureverse Foundation, Ayim received a donation of 100,000 Euros. The grant helped to support Ayim’s work curating Ghana’s Pavillion at the 2022 Venice Biennale.

The Futureverse Foundation will select grant winners through a nomination process. To that end, the Futureverse Foundation will look to the FLUF World community to highlight and nominate the causes that they care about. To be sure, this initiative will continue the work that FLUF World has been committed to for some time. For example, FLUF World has managed to raise over two million dollars for different causes since it launched.

Beloved actor Keanu Reeves and renowned artist Alexandra Grant will serve as advisors of the Futureverse Foundation. In a statement about the partnership, Reeves said:

“I am honored to be joining Non-Fungible Labs’ efforts in cooperation with Alexandra Grant for the extraordinary program and opportunity of the Futureverse Foundation, in support of artists and creators globally.”
