FestivalPass, a subscription service that offers its community discounted access to an array of live events and unique experiences, is expanding its services into the realm of NFTs through the launch of a ‘Festival Family Founder’ NFT collection.
The collection features 10,000 NFTs, however unlike traditional one-off mints, the assets will be dropped via ten 1,000 asset mints. The first drop will come with discounted prices in order to reward early supporters, where once sold out, the second drop will commence at a higher price point. Each drop will come with its own base artwork, with each being a unique depiction of a legendary live performer. With this in mind, the icon to feature in the first drop will be coveted rockstar ‘Legend’.
Once purchased, a Festival Family Founder NFT unlocks $1,200 worth of credits on FestivalPass every year (to whoever holds the NFT). The credits can then be redeemed on the platform for over 80,000 live events, such as concerts, festivals, sports events, Broadway theatre shows, and more. They can also be redeemed for nights at over 60,000 global hotels.
Without redeeming any of their credits, holders will also gain access to quarterly bucket list events that have been curated by the FestivalPass team. These include attending intimate concerts of superstar artists, VIP seating and meet and greets at sports events, and unique culinary events with celebrity chefs.
The first mint is set to take place at the start of August for allowlist members, however the exact price points and release dates of the remaining nine drops are still TBA. You can find out more about the collection, its array of utilities, and its roadmap here.
