Following on from its DeData conference back in December, blockchain-focused platform BlockDown is returning with an NFT-gated festival of Web3 culture. The festival will be a three day extravaganza situated in the beautiful coastal city of Sibenik, Croatia.
The event, which is being coined as the ‘Web3 SXSW’ of Europe, will run between May 11th-13th. Ownership of one of three tiers of an NFT will act as a ticket to the event, whereupon entrance, festival-goers will be able to enjoy an array of experiences which take place within the event’s many distinct realms. Such events include pop-up experiences, musical performances, and art installations, all of which will be focused on how the metaverse, NFTs, gaming, and DAO structures are playing increasingly larger roles in how we work, play, and socialise.
The event will also be the world’s first gamified NFT-enabled festival, where attendees can fully immersive themselves through earning points as they take part in selected activities and events. The attendee who earns the most points will be rewarded with exclusive BlockDown NFTs, along with gaining access to other BlockDown related experiences.
There are additional perks for those who purchase upper-tiered NFT tickets, as ‘Ultra’ ticket holders will be rewarded with exclusive NFT galleries, music performances, project showcases, exhibitions, informative workshops from illustrious web3 experts, and much more. ‘Universal’ ticket holders will receive all of these perks also, as well as being granted access to an array of other exciting opportunities, including a wine and dine experience in the Mystical Forest VIP Lounge, and attending a live concert in the medieval St. Michael’s Fortress.
