After forming in November and acquiring a $360,000 NFT manager back in February, Kingship, the virtual band of Universal Music Group’s subsidiary known as 10:22PM, is launching a virtual world for its degen rock fans to vibe in. The new world will be accompanied by the drop of ‘Key Card’ NFTs which’ll grant fans with the opportunity to delve deeper into the lives of the four Bored Apes (or five, including its Bored Ape #5537 ‘Manager Noët All’) and a single Mutant Ape which make up the virtual band.

There will be 10,000 ‘Key Card’ NFTs up for grabs, with each essentially serving as an access key that’ll allow holders to enjoy exclusive insight to the group’s music, NFT-gated experiences, and other regions of its virtual rockstar world.

Key Card NFTs will initially be on offer during an allowlist access period which begins on May 14th, for a price of 0.19 ETH (approximately $455). They will then go on public sale on May 16th for a heftier price of 0.3 ETH (approximately $720).

As of now, the band has announced that holders of Doodles, SupDucks, World of Women, The Littles, and AvaStars NFTs have the opportunity to sign up to the mint’s allowlist, in addition to those who hold Bored and Mutant Apes.

According to Celine Joshua, the founder of 10:22PM and creator of Kingship, the launching of a collection centred around the increasingly popular ‘access-enabled’ NFT concept marks the beginning of the project’s limitless roadmap ambitions: “This is only the beginning of our roadmap for an expansive world that will provide this community with an incredible journey and interactive storytelling”.
