Over in the world of competitive Axolotl fighting the excitement has reached fever pitch, as the stunning realm of Axie Infinity gears up for its grand ‘Axiecon’ event in Barcelona.
For 3 fun-packed days starting on September 7, the Axie fandom will run riot in Hall 2 at the Fira de Barcelona. Where thousands of devotees from around the globe will congregate in one spectacular Catalonia location to celebrate the wonderful world of the fearsome axolotls.
During the event, fans can get up close and personal with some of the greatest contributors to the ecosystem. While discovering the latest breaking news, plans for the future, extravagant festivities, and the biggest competitive Axie games on the planet. With rumblings on the grapevine also hinting at a major LAND announcement.
As part of proceedings, those present will play witness to a host of heady competition featuring 3 events and $1m in prizes. As such, fans will cheer on their favourite gamers in both the Axie ‘Classic World Championship’ and ‘Origin BYOD Series’. While additionally competing themselves in the ‘Axie Origin Stadium Series,’ a fine competition open to Axiecon ticket holders.
To take part in the excellent proceedings, fans can purchase a ticket from the Axiecon website for $150. Resulting in a gateway to the event, an exclusive swag bag, all the snacks you can eat, and access to evening parties.
